Good job on creating your first game!

Nice first game you got there. The core concept is already working fine. If you can expand on it, have a few more features and ways to add difficulty, than this might be a good timesink for sure.

Great first game! Very well put together and nicely scoped.

Some general comments:

  1. Nice touch with being able to click and bundle multiple batteries if they overlap at the point
  2. The game dives right in once it's loaded, which can be jarring. Having a simple start screen can help with the transition between the loading screen and the actual gameplay
  3. While the game play is simple and straight forward, consider some kind of tutorialization or in game direction (instead of only in the description).  While a complex set of dialogs would be heavy handed, a simple graphic on a title screen or animation that plays on the first battery would go a long way.
  4. The music stops after the track ends, and I'm not sure if that is intended.  This is a bug with web exports specifically, and even though you check the loop parameter in the AudioStream it will still not loop in the web player (however it will in the debug player).  I was only able to fix it by manually editing the loop parameter in the .import file next to the mp3.   You can also test web exports with the Godot editor by using the Remote Deploy feature (the button should be next to or near the Run Project and Run Current Scene buttons.

Thank you so much for all the feedback and checking it out!

I wish I had more time to work on it and get this implemented but it is a lot of help for what to do on future jams and games and was something that didn't cross my mind whilst working. It is greatly appreciated. It's also nice and rewarding seeing the VOD and getting to hear out your thoughts as you played.

I masochisticly tried to play it on the touchpad (I hate touchpads), don't recommend :D But with mouse it was quite fun. Very pleasant graphics for the eyes and pretty chill background tune :)

Thank you!

Touchpads are definitely tricky to use lol but i am happy to hear that you liked it. I was unsure on making graphics so i'm also happy to hear that it turned out alright :)
