Nice art, music, and very interesting custom AI stack for sure. The gameplay/hints and player guidance is a bit lacking but the game has a solid base!

Developer

Thanks!

Very cool vibes! I love how all of the art and music are consistent with each other. They work together well to create a very fun techno atmosphere. Also, that giant mech knight with the three different levels that you can walk through is pretty amazing. And the music is fire!

Developer

Oh, boy, thanks for that comment! Especially I liked that you mentioned music! All the credits go to @Loyzbeats, and I think it is a big part of this game.

Finally a point and click without moon logic.
Im not sure why the mech is not the kingdoms first resort to any threat. I feel like there needs to be a follow up investigation on the court because this felt like a failed coup without any consequences.

Thank you for your comment and for trying the game! This is such a compliment! I've played too many old school pacs and the all were too hard!

The game's graphics are very nice and I liked that it was made using the Godot engine. Good game.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I checked your game, it is also in godot, but it loads into browser page way faster than mine because of all those background and character art sprites.

Very cool and clean click and play !

Developer(+1)

Thanks for trying out the game! Your game is also cool and clean click and play!

I really enjoyed this! I agree that the first screen is the most difficult part. Despite reading your comment, I still had to check the walkthrough to understand how to leave the first room. A clearer hint in the note, something encouraging the player to investigate that particular wall—would help a lot.

The rest of the game communicates which objects to collect and where to use them very clearly, which is a great choice for a jam entry. It’s a solid point-and-click experience that tells a complete little story quickly and effectively. I especially liked the backgrounds and their visual consistency. I saw that you used a model fine-tuned specifically for the game, and the results are integrated very well. Even the relatively simple cutscenes look effective and fit the overall presentation.

Overall, this is a very strong and polished jam entry. Congratulations, great work!

Oh, thank you for your detailed comment! I made a mistake with first room for a jam entry for sure. One thing you can not do as a point and click designer is to play your own game to test its difficulty. Probably the best solution to this problem would be to ask AI to write another verse to a note, something like "and if you stuck in front of a dead wall one brick is the key to escape of it all". I know how frustrating it is to continue playing pac after consuting a walkthough so I'm very greatfull you stick to it and experienced whole game!

The graphics, music, and audio are all incredibly polished—I was genuinely blown away!

My only disappointment was that I couldn’t figure out how to leave the first room. I spent about five minutes clicking around, but I still couldn’t find a way out.

That said, the overall quality is fantastic, and the game was genuinely inspiring!

Developer

Wow, thanks for your kind words! But it is extremely sad, that you were not able to leave the first room! I admit that it requires quite a bit of pixel hunting which is common in the world of point and clicks. If you ever consider giving it another try the hint is "think about what is the most common way to open a secret passege in a wall in old cartoons". There is also a whole video walkthrough made by a kind youtuber in the game comments section. After first room the amout of pixel hunting is a lot less, I promise!

Submitted

Thank you for the hint! That makes sense—I was approaching the room too literally rather than thinking like an old-cartoon point-and-click puzzle. The clue about the secret passage is clever, and thank you for pointing me toward the walkthrough as well. Now I understand what I should be looking for!

Loved the art style! When playing on iOS the sound didn’t work; but I did watch the commented out video to see what it sounds like and it worked out well. The text also covered the logo at the beginning but maybe it was just my aspect ratio. Very cool at giving a vibe and I think point and click fans will enjoy it. :-)

Developer

Wow, thanks for your feedback! I wonder if other godot games work fine for you. Pacs are so coming back!

I think visually this is pretty good, and it feels right, it works well as a traditional point and click. I think the voice work for the main character is not great, very robotic and slow. The narrator of the story is well done though.

Developer

Thanks a lot for trying!
