How sad it is to be a small game developer.

How difficult it is to be a small game creator when big game creators create new games and they get downloads so quickly, but small game creators don't get them. We game creators deserve to create games with care and not be unfairly banned or permanently or temporarily suspended, so respect small game creators, people.

What do you mean about being unfairly banned?

Small or big, you are competing for peoples time and that resource is not unlimited.

It is harsh to say but even small creators are competing against everyone else even the big fish.

fr vro, my game literally got under 30 downloads since its release🥀, but this doesnt mean to not trying, because this is still the beginning, im pretty sure someday, where ever i go, there will be more than 5% chance of people i found talking about my game

I like being a small dev because I can create what I want however and whenever I want. I love making games and will continue even if no one plays them.

Big game developers are unhappy now, too. Did you see the game bundle that was featured on the front page last month?

At least we small-game developers can choose to make games that don’t appease leadership in Apple, Google, Microsoft, Samsung, Sony, or explicit weapons manufacturers.

Anyhow, I am grateful for all the game creators still pushing forward who aren’t burning the planet to do it.

All big game devs start as small devs. And they all face competition in the market. So just face it.

Besides, being small game developer, there's flexibility in games which could be made. So it's not a sad thing :).

its terrible how big gaming companies own the game market

I agree

It sucks a little how unlikely it is to make a living as a small developer. But there is the flexibility and the fun of it.
