Congrats on putting this together for the jam!

I really liked the piano tones for moving around the plots! That's a pretty neat affordance I haven't seen elsewhere! I also very much appreciated the relaxed vibes of this game (perfect for the jam) compared to "And then she slept" 😅

I think the tutorials might be a little long-winded, and I wish the concepts were more gradually introduced (e.g. just planting seeds first, or setting grass, and then introduce the other tools / plants).

I think there are a lot of affordances that seem to be sight-only here - when you land on the farm, nothing tells you what you should be expecting (a grid that is 3 by 8). When I try to plant something where it isn't allowed (or successfully do plant something), there is a visual note that isn't read aloud. Moving to a tile that already has been tilled or has grass has no special affordance.

One thing I would recommend is whatever channels you have for text or visual information on the screen, need some sort of duplicated text-to-speech  audio for those who wouldn't be able to see it.

Thanks again for sharing this project in the jam. This was really neat to try out, and I hope you'll continue your streak of cool games for these jams!

Thanks for your comment and most of all the feedback!

I agree that some of it was not properly explained! The tutorials being a block of text was definitely not a good approach and there is a lot of elements that are not perfectly accessible in retrospective. I intend on continuing the development of this game, with proper shops and shopkeepers, recipes to use the crops in, animals, etc... And proper tutorials that actually teach the game mechanics.
I will soon(ish) have some new Demo ready, and I hope you'll be interested to give it a shot when it comes up!
