An e-reader for interactive fiction is just the kind of niche idea you’d see on indiegogo or kickstarter back when e-readers were booming. And the irony of it being a foldable console with a rigid stand that sticks out from it all the time is absolute gold. “How did this ever make it into production? What were they thinking?”

But honestly, as someone who has considered buying a PS Vita specifically for visual novels, I would totally buy something like this just for that sweet e-ink battery life.

Hi! When coming up ideas on how one is even supposed to play games on this console, at first I entertained the idea of a small keyboard so 'players' would play those kinds of adventure games that require written commands before I turned more towards the 'e-reader but for like text adventures visual novels and stuff'.

Also extra fun fact: I added the 'download cable' idea after looking up information Silent Hill play novels (or Play novel: Silent Hill as was the more accurate title), and I briefly thought adding a fake, colored screenshot of a made up game to the SRS screen (Silent Hill play novel style), but I wasn't sure if I had enough time to do it since real life has been happening. Maybe later!
