Yo, I just finished the game! Thought I would leave my review here:

Honestly, this game is a really cool experience, and I would like to see more fangames for the X series with this quality. I particularly liked the 8 Maverick designs (both their visual design as well as their fights). While I'm a bit mixed on requiring chips in order to get the armor pieces, the chips were abundant enough that it wasn't really an issue for me. Also really like some of the QoL improvements in later patches such as being able to disable the power wheel and refining the stage design.

The only part of the game I think is in a bad state right now is the final boss fight. Version 1.00.51 doubled all the health bars of the fortress stage bosses, which I think is fine by itself. On Sigma, however, it seems that his damage also skyrocketed and could kill me in 3-4 touch hits when I have max health/health upgrades (on Hunter difficulty, at least). While I get making the bosses harder, and I think the double health thing is a good way to go about it, I simply could not beat the Sigma fight even with all armor, health, and subtank upgrades. By contrast, the version 1.00.4 version of Sigma felt only like a slightly undertuned boss fight, and I think that Sigma should not have gotten both the significantly increased damage and doubled health.

While that was a big paragraph for one complaint, I think the majority of this game overall is really good! I mentioned the bosses and stage design before, but I also liked the kick/uppercut upgrades and how the secrets were designed. With a bit more refining of the game, I think this would be like a 9/10 experience! (Story is a little weak, but its a Mega Man game so who really cares about story that much?) Great job on the game! <3

This is exactly where I'm at. 100% Veteran difficulty and the dogs alone are nearly impossible to NOT contact, and they take a stupid amount of health from you as well. It doesnt help that Hadouken input works only 1/20 times.

Honest to God, I have only gotten to final form Sigma once in the last 2 HOURS, and the 1 time I got there i had half health left and I guess I was insta-crushed by the hand and the outer wall as soon as the fight started....it's way overturned and I honestly feel 99% of players will never be able to do it the way it is now. You have to basically perfect it.

Also, Sigma shouldn't be able to turn around while doing his rapid-fire hand attack.... Or shoot backwards. That's kinda crap.

Edit: Sigma 2 is much more manageable but he still takes literally like 45% health on hit. Not as much health as Sigma 1, either so it was a much faster fight.
