Hi everyone! I am working on a grid-based dungeon puzzle game and I am looking for a pixel artist to create a small, 16x16 Top-Down Tileset. (Note: Character sprites are already finished, I only need the environment and a few mechanics).
Visual Style: Dark, desaturated stone colors with a clean 16-bit RPG aesthetic. I have a clear reference image that I will share with you.
The Technical Rules (Very Important):
- Strict 16x16 Grid: Every tile must fit perfectly inside its 16x16 boundary.
- No Transparency / Baked Shadows: My engine requires perfectly solid blocks. The unplayable areas outside the walls must fade into pure black (the void) instead of being transparent.
- Seamless Tiling: Walls and floors must connect flawlessly without any visible seams.
The Scope (Deliverables):
- 1 Base Dungeon Floor tile
- 16-piece Modular Wall System (corners, edges, center)
- 1 Bridge tile, 1 Fire Trap tile, and 1 raised Floor Button
Budget: $15 - 20 for the complete set (PNG Sprite Sheet format).
How to Apply: Since the technical constraints (seamless connection and baked black shadows) are critical for my level editor, please don't just drop a generic portfolio link.
If you are interested, please reply here or DM me with a quick, rough sketch of a 3-tile setup (Top-Left Corner Wall + Left Wall + Base Floor). This will help us see if our styles match and if the grid system works before we start the contract. I am attaching my reference image below for the color palette and atmosphere.
Looking forward to working with you!
