I don't know if you'll actually respond, but I think I figured out what causes the freeze issue. Milla's Nature Balm can overwrite the symbol for a status condition when used, but this doesn't remove the counter for removing that symbol when the status wears off. As a result the game crashes when the status wears off since the symbol is no longer there to remove.
