I don't know how to feel about this one. This game is very unusual.

The art style, ambience, setting, and fiction of this game is in my mind really outstanding. I mean I don't think everyone would appreciate this kind of game, because the entire time i was like "what the hell am i even looking at", but I personally love it. I would totally play a bigger game in this setting/universe.

The music does wonders for setting the weird kind of atmosphere and the sound effects were all there too.

Once i figured out which potions were which and how to brew potions things started to make much more sense and I started to enjoy tending my strange little shop and making  elixers of Hekhalot.

I liked that the items had physics and there is this clumsy kind of moving about of items around your shop. I guess that ties into unstable.

there was a market simulation going on but i had no idea what it was doing. Also, for some reason i heard an explosion and then my entire inventory of potions was gone.

ultimately, i think the weakest point is not knowing what to do or what is happening with some of the mechanics. also, i wish the customers could stay a bit longer as I figure out what to do.

I rated this very highly because it is so original and probably the only game i have seen here that i will remember for a while. I was thinking about it long after finishing playing. Really really interesting and unique game which the right audience will certainly appreciate.

also there is a friggin save system!!

Thank you for this comment! We were going to make a small tutorial but quickly ran out of time! We made this when the deadline was half over but I appreciate your thoughts!

Usually I admit I lean much more into games as an experimental art form and so I never go into any project with the expectation that it will be for everyone. That being said however, I think there is appeal to challenge games to be new even if at the cost of accessibility.

As for your other notes! The explosion was your elixirs expiring! When elixirs dont sell and sit on your shelf for too long they go bad and well...Elixirs arent exactly "stable" when that happens. If you put them too close to each other the explosion radius can even damage other elixirs close by and well...Yeah that can wipe out your inventory fast. Luckily if you pull up that wooden panel in the storage room, it doubles as a trash bin to throw old or expiring elixirs/empty boxes out.

The market indicates (essentially) which elixirs are priority to make for the coming days and what price you can set them to sell at!

Once again I thank you for the very productive comment!
