That's odd, you're the first person to report this issue. Which version are you playing, and are you on PC, Mac, or Android? Also, do you get any error message when it crashes?
Sounds like it's likely a RAM issue. I've lowered the number of images kept in cache specifically for Android, there's not much more I can do beyond that, but it should reduce or completely get rid of the crashes for you.
