It lagged quite a bit, and I couldn’t start the wave. The game needs optimization and control polish, as well as less menus and tutorial to go through to get to core loop. These things I feel hide an otherwise beautiful take on a Rogue Tower type game.
From what I felt, the lag mainly comes from cpu thread hangups, it is given a lot of processing to do, that should be cached. That’s just my observation from experience.
Concrete advise would be:
Concept of this game is cool, but it lagged too much for me to progress past the tutorial. The overworld's performance was too poor to get anywhere.
Very cool game, love tower defense! A bit laggy but I could still play
A really cool game! I wish it was 2D though. Your 2D images in this game are really great!
Hey guys, thanks so much for the optimization feedback - I wonder if turning off some of the options in the graphics menu would have any effect?
Will try my best to push optimization changes shortly
Looks really fun and interesting, but the game was too laggy to really play. :/ I like the idea of building your own map and of setting the enemies that will attack.
I like what I saw but the game is too laggy to really try out. I could hardly use the menus and could not complete the tutorial because it was just too slow and stuttery. please let me know if you do an optimization pass on it.
Sorry if anyone had left a comment - I think they had gotten deleted unintentionally - my apologies!
Yeah mine was deleted haha, anyway great improvement on the game, keep building !
