Thanks for the kind words. I did not make the art or models by hand, I used AI to generate the models based on the portraits that gamelabstudio.co generated for me.

As for how to progress, you don't actually need to steal anything from the guest if you find it too hard, just get the key card in the kitchen, the bottle from the bar and find a way to bring either the turkey or the champagne fountain to the exit. It's going to be tricky to move because people will be suspicious while you hold it. 

If you do want to steal the guests items, you just need to avoid the guard for a few seconds before they forget about you. Try running back to the room you started in. 

You can't actually hurt anyone, I wanted to avoid combat as much as possible. 

It uses libgdx and is written in Java. All the models where made in house using blender. I used AI to help build this, that's why I was able to get so much done. 

Thanks! Its a bit of both. I have built up a solid set of tools for common things like the menu and UI elements and isometric movement. The rest was just AI being scary good at turning ideas into code. It took several iterations to get things the way I wanted them.

For the music, I really only had to ask claude the one time, and I didn't even give it much of a prompt, just "we need to add music" and it handled the rest. I think it was during the week that they were letting people use the newest model for free so that could have been why it turned out so well. 

Aliens look a bit too much like the planets, it makes it hard to figure out what you are doing until the aliens are everywhere. Still quite fun and I could see it being built out into a full game.

That's a really cool game. The sailing is a bit buggy sometimes but it has real potential.

An interesting idea and a good looking execution but I found the game play a bit hard to understand at first. All in all, a good showing.

I like what I saw but the game is too laggy to really try out. I could hardly use the menus and could not complete the tutorial because it was just too slow and stuttery. please let me know if you do an optimization pass on it.

I had a good time. Nice graphics and good sound, I would have loved to see more of a description of how AI fit into everything but overall, one of the better ones I have played so far.

I got stuck in the tutorial, it asked me to build a road from the side bar but there was no side bar? 

This was actually really fun once I got over how hard it was to aim with the mouse. It could really use a cross-hair or something. Good music, good art (in the intro at least) and that fun vampire survivor inspired game play give this high marks. I could have stood to hear more about how you used AI to make this all.

Yeah, this was a last minute additional entry I made when the jam got extended. I didn't have time to add in the opponent unhorsing the player. That would have fixed the difficulty issue I think,

I like the art and the story seems like it is going places, that's all great but I don't see any description of how AI was used beyond 'ChatGPT' and the UI was a bit janky. Also it could have used music.

That's an impressive amount of AI use. I enjoyed the puzzle aspect of the game. There was a fair bit of AI voice to it but that's kind of the point of the jam so I'm not taking marks off for that. It could have done with some music. AI could have totally generated it. Maybe an idea for the next one.

You should include more information about what AI was used and how. Its one of the areas the game is graded on and just "code, sound, animation" doesn't give enough info to make an informed vote.

A good fun time. The leader-board was a nice feature. I am not even going to try to beat that high score! 

gamelabstudio.co was alright when using it manually, it guides you through the process of making the images or animations you are looking for but once I got Claude talking directly to it, the process became much more useful. Claude was able to drive the whole process and do thing like run tests for different prompt language to find the best fit for the style I wanted, it took about 6 credits to find the right style and then each image was coming out exactly as I wanted it. I only had to go back and replace one generated image because it was wanted to use an SS uniform for one of the enemies and that was not the vibe I wanted :P

Honestly this has a lot of potential. I found it was hard to place many of the rooms and often the unit would try to move when i was trying to place something. The style and level design worked quite well. 

I was not able to try your game, it says the dev did not give permission to view the game.

I like the look of the game but I am not sure I get the gameplay, every time I lose I have no idea why. 

This was good. It would be nice if there was some way to catch the thief in the act instead of having to wait until they stole everything but still quite an enjoyable time. 

Rather enjoyable. I was not a fan of the mouse rotation but that added to the challenge. I thought the framing device of the investigation report thing was good. 

great proof of concept. I could see a full horror game based on this.

Nice. The lighting was good, especially the clouds. I was a bit confused about "staying out of the moonlight" at first because it seemed I spawned in the moonlight but I figured it out eventually. One thing that was a bit odd was the camera seemed to want to rotate on it's own and I had to keep pulling it back in the direction i wanted to go. 

All in all a fun little game.

This was great! I loved the world you built, it really felt well put together. I got a laugh out of the sharks with lasers.

Good use of the animations and assets. Hiding in different items was fun but as some point the shaking wouldn't stop. I found it was a bit too easy to just run to the exit instead of engaging with the hiding mechanic. Overall I liked it.

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, I ran out of time to add proper feedback for the guards switching states. I had wanted to add some voice lines but I didn't have time to record the lines and add them to the game. As for the cake, it is behind the locked door in the middle of the long hallway.
