This game is, unfortunately, heavily luck based, and since not every playthrough is consistent, you’ll be prepared to play this game over and over again until you hit the jackpot to escape.
The only thing I can say is:
- Do NOT stay in one spot for too long, you’ll have to keep moving. The reason is that you’ll have 24 minutes to escape, and if you’ve been spending too much time hiding and waiting for the pred to leave, then it’s “game over” by the second bell hits.
- Pause the game if necessary to give you breathing room. Take notes of where you’ve been to prevent time loss (God I wish there’s an in-game notepad).
- Echoing another person’s comment, check the pre-opened areas first, like the Bathrooms, the Cafeteria, the Auditorium, and the Storage Room. You’ll have a small window of grace period (Probably like around a minute) where the pred stays in the cafeteria before moving, so the best way to start is the 2F Bathroom.
- Always peek to know where the predator is, and guess based on sounds. Like an example: If you hear the predator’s footstep is inching closer to your location, but isn’t present, that means they’re either above or below you. Though, I recommend wearing headphones.
