It's moreso a matter of posts feeling like spam, then. That's a better word then bots. I want people to be involved who ideally, are freaks for torture, and who aren't going to charge people an arm and a leg for their involvement in a jam game. I see posts like this and worry about what people want to gain.

Why would you assume I'm charging people an arm and a leg to participate?
I've very openly participated in over 200 Gamejams. I like doing GameJams, hence why I apply to do audio work for as many as possible when I'm not working on commercial projects.
Super sucks to be a credible name in the GameDev space and referred to as a "spam bot" when I'm just out here trying to do free work with smaller teams for jams.
And I also feel like as the host of the jam it's not cool of you to do this to people who you can easily spot as credible. Downvoting my posts and encouraging people not to work with me (as I've been told by mutuals in this jam) is just super uncool, dude. Like really toxic.
