I might be a bit mean for rating the overall 2 stars but I have my reasons: I don't know whether or not this is my problem or a game problem but I wasn't able to shoot and had 15 ammo and I wish you could zoom out a bit more and maybe even have a scope but whilst it worked, it was quite fun so, like Studio Bo I will give it a "Whoop Whoop??" (please don't think I'm being extremely mean)

How it fits the themes
The game uses the planet as an obstacle such as the creatures that live in it. All creatures are strange and abormal

The game is fun, I really like the idea of a shooter from a bird's eye perspective. The alien designs are cool and the upgrades are interesting! I like the rouge-lite difficulty ramp up and upgrade system.
The game doesn't really fit the "glitch" theme of the jam, and doesn't make an attempt to include it, so possible disqualification? Sorry.
As for the gameplay, I think that making the fire button a keyboard control rather than a mouse input would be a better choice given that you use the keyboard for all movement. If the game has a reload mechanic, you should add a button that allows you to manually reload instead of having to wait until you run out of bullets. I think there should have been some upgrade for more damge sources (Maybe a low-damage turret you can mount on top of a base, or on the nearby ground, or an alternate weapon you can use on the satilite in conjunction with the base bombs). And lastly, please anchor your UI elements, I've made the same mistake before, but if something needs to be visible then you need to anchor it so it stays on screen regardless of the screen resizing.
Thank you for your feedback,
I will look into anchoring and will improve the build with your suggestions after the review session is over.
As for the Theme, the reason glitch theme isn't present is because I started the jam just before the theme came out . I misread the text thinking abnormality was the only theme that was present for this jam with planets being the main part of the game., I only realised glitch was the main theme as I submitted so it's my bad .
In conclusion I appreciate you playing game and will next read the text more carefully next time as the jam starts.
You're at wave 5. You feel unstoppable. Then the yellow alien comes.
Fun game, enjoyed it a lot, liked the different bases idea, difficulty really ramps up after wave 5...
Great time!
I really liked it; it's simple and short, but pretty great. The only thing I found so-so was not knowing where an enemy is (maybe because I wasn't using headphones), although it also adds a lot to the gameplay.
Gonna properly review the game later but for now PLEASE change the way the web game works sometimes it doesn't register my mouse clicks and i can't shoot (has been a problem with another web game here too i noticed)
Sorry to hear that, I apologise. I am not sure why the mouse isn't working for you because I have tested with other players and it was fine. Nonetheless, After the reviews for this jam are complete, I will add an alternative keybind input to allow you shoot incase the mouse doesn't work again. If its the web version that's bugging it out, I'll also make a downloadable windows build for you to try as well. Apologies you didn't have the best experience.
