Those games (Roblox, Fortnite, etc.) were honestly so far from my radar that I didn't think of them. I don't encourage those sorts of games-where-you-make-games--where the original platform keeps for itself what you have created. What I'm advocating for here are games where what you create is kept by you and only you (a painting or a poem or a Twine game that lives in your files (or on your itch page!)).
