I played this and think it's a really interesting mechanic with the clock solitaire in the game. I thought it brought a good amount of tension as I flipped cards, hoping the next one wasn't the Calling Moon again. I only had three cards left before the fourth king appeared, so I got to give it a good run. I think this game has a lot of possibility. There could be more added for creating a character and especially for fleshing out a destiny. I needed to turn to several outside sources to help with this, including Bell Whispers, Cairn, and a solo guide by Perplexing Ruins. The oracles at the end were fairly helpful. The beginning font was extremely hard to read, but an update could rectify that easily. For those interested in playing The Moon is Always Rising a different way, I found an online version of clock solitaire to use (easy to find with a search engine) and/or the game can be played more easily with real cards by putting face-up cards at the bottom of their corresponding position on the clock. Thanks for a fun game about the moon!

Ah, thank you for your kind words and thank you so much for the useful and thoughtful feedback. I have meant to update the beginning font for a while for sure, so hopefully this can be the motivation. I was more focused on trying to build out a journalling game based on clock solitaire than adding detail to the spark tables, and at the same time I'm super glad that you found the same tension I did when I played clock solitaire and interested to see if there's more I can add to character creation as well
