I’ll be honest: when I first started playing Mintrust, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing.
After a while, I figured out the bullet hell part of the game, and that’s when I started getting some serious Undertale vibes. Navigating the heart was surprisingly fun, and the animations were really well done. Everything felt very polished visually.
The music was another highlight for me. It had a dark, atmospheric feel that fit the game perfectly, and it matched the color palette really well. The overall presentation definitely creates a unique mood.
I managed to make it all the way to Level 5, although I have to admit that I still wasn’t entirely sure what I was actually doing by that point. I think the game could do a better job of explaining its mechanics, especially at the beginning.
Still, once I got into it, I had a lot of fun. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy bullet hell games with a dark atmosphere and Undertale-like vibes.
