How does the game fit the theme?
Sometimes, we go through circumstances that force us to lose trust in everyone around us, but the heaviest burden of all begins when it evolves into losing trust in yourself.
This is why we chose this theme for our game; we decided to explore the quiet struggle of trust issues and self-sabotage that so many people endure in silence. The game starts by placing the player in a state of paranoia and constant suspicion toward their coworkers, mirroring this internal conflict. However, as the events escalate, they realize that the real crisis might actually stem from within.
Our goal wasn't just to build a puzzle game, but to deliver a message of support. We hope this experience reaches even just one person, letting them know they are not alone in feeling this way—that there are others who understand and share this exact struggle. Most importantly, we wanted to highlight that recognizing the problem is only the beginning, but the truly courageous step is talking to a specialist or a therapist to move past this phase and heal.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

The game feels good! Just one thing: the dialogues are really slow.
Thanks for the feedback! By the way, if you want to skip the wait, there's a quick trick: just hit back and click on the suspect again, and the dialogue will already be there!
My main critique is like mr.pickles said the dialogue feels kinda slow. But I think you did a great job however i havent finished the game yet and im excited to eventualy!
Thanks so much for playing, and really glad you found it interesting! By the way, if you want to skip the wait, there's a quick trick: just hit back and click on the suspect again, and the dialogue will already be there!

I could not finish the game as it got stuck at 1:33 , although its quite interesting, the art style maybe need a bit of refinement, but overall quite interesting.
Thanks so much for playing, and really glad you found it interesting!
Sorry to hear it got stuck at 1:33, though—that’s definitely not supposed to happen. If you have a spare second, could you let me know what happened right before it froze, or drop a quick screenshot? That would super help us track down the bug!
Regarding the art style, we hear you! Just one person was handling all the art, so we'll definitely be refining and polishing it moving forward.
Thanks again for the awesome feedback and for giving the game a try!
The puzzle/deduction aspect is pretty good, but it feels a little rough around the edges, like the dialogue that feels very slow and requires leaving and returning to it just to move through the text a bit faster. Plus, as someone else mentioned, there's this AI look to some of the assets, especially the office background like it was AI generated and them traced over.
Overall pretty good with need for some polish
Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback! Really glad you liked the puzzle and deduction mechanics.
Just to clear up the art part—all the office backgrounds and assets were actually hand-drawn by us pixel by pixel in LibreSprite, not AI-generated! But I totally get why it gave that vibe, and we'll definitely work on polishing the visuals.
As for the dialogue pacing, thanks for pointing that out. Quick workaround for now: if you step back and reopen the dialogue, it speeds through the text. Definitely something we'll smooth out in a patch!
Thanks again for playing and helping us improve.
The deduction gameplay is very nice, but the dialog is a bit sluggish, other than that the gaeplay is nice!

Seems like gen AI was used for this game, although it is against the rules
Actually, all the pixel art was made completely from scratch by our artist, @Abdullah-Saber, and the UI was designed by
@MariamRagaei, all by hand. You sure it wasn't AI generated and just traced over? Not accusing it, but the style seems very AI like, the colors expecially and the style in general. Not sure if it just looks like that to me. Best of luck
I wish there was a faster way to skip through the dialogue; waiting for the next line to appear felt a bit too slow for fast reading.

I think this is a really cool idea! I really like this kind of deduction gameplay. The only thing is that the dialogue feels a little slow. It would be nice if I could click to instantly show the full line instead of waiting for the text to appear. Other than that, I really enjoyed it! :D
Thank you so much! I'm really glad you liked the concept. About the dialogue speed—that was actually a deliberate choice to make it feel like the characters are pausing and talking directly to you, almost to build that nervous office tension! But you're totally right that it can get a bit slow, so adding a click-to-skip option is definitely on my list. Really appreciate your feedback and for playing!
By the way, there's a quick trick you can use right now if you want to speed things up: just hit back and click on the suspect again, and the dialogue will already be there!
The way you wove the psychological themes into the game mechanics is brilliant. It’s rare to find a game that makes you question everyone around you, only to deliver such a deep, grounded emotional realization at the end. Absolute masterpiece of storytelling and design!
Thank you so much! That truly means a lot.
