How does the game fit the theme?
The goal of the game is to clear dungeons without dying. An NPC offers you ways to escape, but you never know if he's telling the truth. The only way to find out is to search around the doors for a clue.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I didn't create the assets (dungeon environments, characters, sword, fireball, potions, gem, trees, and sounds). However, I programmed everything.

this game was fun to play, even though it may take some time trying to find all the monsters to kill them. the theme is being followed as you arent able to trust the character that is guiding you through the dungeon, as you would die, which i find unique about this game! visuals and audio are good, but u could add a bit more polish in my opinion. overall, i really enjoyed the gameplay!
Loved the visuals of the game, however I didnt understand the purpose of the sword other than that one time when I broke the door, to my understanding you can just spam the spell and kill everyone without any problems, but I did chuckle a little bit when I just died after going through the door, overall well done man.

Cool game. It was fun when they told me to go out the door and I died. The sword wasn't really necessary. lol
Pretty good, was a little devastated that I died and had to go around killing the mobs again lol! In the end I finally escaped after securing the lost diamond. Thanks for your submission was fun to try out!

Here is my new game, Escape from the Dungeon, which I created for the Brackeys Game Jam. The theme is "Trust no one". In this game, you will have to fight your way out of the dungeons while finding the right doors to proceed. A certain character might help you... or not ;) !!
