How does the game fit the theme?
The Shop Keepers are unreliable and often tell you things about the items that are not true. They cannot be trusted!

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

It’s a cool idea and it fits the topic perfectly.

this was going to be my original jam idea ! great job with the implementation.

I liked how cleanly the UI was implemented into the game world and gameplay, and the concept is pretty interesting. My personal biggest criticisms come from the combat feeling super unresponsive, with a lot of elements missing sounds, visual feedback on both the enemy and the player, and just generally feeling kinda sluggish (the dash was notable for this more than anything, I think) I particularly liked the game world, and idea of slowly getting stronger through learning the outcomes of trial and error

enjoyable liked the combat alot and the art and music , wouldnt mind some hint or some puzzle way to determine what are safe upgrades but still alot of fun

Was fun little game, but the buying of stuff was a bit unclear if it was a lie or whatnot, but the premise is neat

Quite interesting to combine combat with the theme, and the shopkeepers really seam to be a nice touch, overall quite good!

Really cool idea with the unreliable shopkeepers... fits the theme really well. I like that you have to think for yourself instead of just trusting the item descriptions. Makes buying upgrades feel a bit risky in a fun way. Nice concept overall and really creative use of the theme.
