How does the game fit the theme?
In this psychiatric ward, the walls and the people are equally unreliable. Escaping means deciding, over and over, what to believe.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
We are still very new to coding and are doing our best to learn as much as possible. We used AI to help us build parts of the underlying game mechanics and to investigate and troubleshoot issues. However, we are strongly against the use of AI in the creative process. The idea, story, character sprites, artwork, and the majority of the game mechanics were created entirely by us and were not created or influenced by AI.

All audio, including the soundscape, dialogue, and SFX, was recorded using analogue equipment and later digitally processed in Ableton.

Interesting concept, good job

i really like the concept of this game about being delusional in a hospital and seeing things and avoiding everyone as they provide danger (apart from the nurse who gives u pills). the ambience is also unsettling and suspenseful which follows the delusional aspect. however, i would adding captions and make the voicelines more clearer as they contain important info.

The audio felt nice and suspenseful and love the gameplay!

Audio is exceptional. Moving the walls, which I first thought was a visual bug, was a clever way of communicating the feelings of being lost as a patient in the ward. Also loved the walking animations.

good job! i really liked the audio

Cool gameplay! This was a very cool take on the theme. Wish there was a way to skip the cutscene though.

I always thought that nurses are good people! Anyway it was a good game

I rated your game, so do the same, please

I was really confused as to where I should go and what i could enter, but then I remembered the whole vibe and ran like a psych that doesn't want to be strapped down. So you achieved exactly what your theme went for with me.
I'm mot a native speaker and I had no issues understanding the dialogues.
Enjoyed it a ton, well done!

This is very impressive for your first game. As other comments said, you should add captions so you can understand the dialogue better. I feel imo you should also add more directions or smth

The audio is really impressive, but I found it kind of hard to make out some of the dialogue. I think an option for subtitles would have really improved the experience.

Interesting experience, I think it could use a little polish but loved the audio, very unsettling!

it's very weird (in a good way) and it's pretty fun! I didn't really understand some of the voicelines. also i think you should make some checkpoints so that when you restart you don't have to see the beginning cutscene all over again

Had no idea what was going on. I could make out most of the voicelines but was left guessing at some others (the nurse was a little hard to understand). Adds to the atmosphere of being a psych patient! I enjoyed it.
