How does the game fit the theme?
You must fight your own kind (cats) for territorial dominance.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I used some assets from kenney, and I believe pixabay.

The feel of the combat was good, needed some time to get the hang of marking my territory and fight off other cats and dogs. But sometimes I get spawn killed lol. Overall, a nice game!
Thanks for the feedback!
Very lovely game!
Thank you!
combat felt punchy right away, got a hit landed on a rival cat within a minute of starting. pixel art is really charming and the movement feels good. curious how the territory claiming ties together over a longer run, ill be back to see, good job
Thanks! If you use Godot, you should check out Mostly Mad Productions on Youtube, he has a lot of useful tutorials with durations of usually less than 7 minutes.
loved this one, was a bit hard at first but i got the hand of it pretty fast and won :D
Nice!
was fun, good game
Damn, cats are mean! I loved the vibe and pacing of the game. I don't think i've see similar games have terrority claiming of that kind and i makes sense with the cats. Great idea.
Well done overall!

love the combat!
Thanks! I got my game feel from Mostly Mad Productions, who is super underrated. He has basically anything in an under 7 minute video.
(Only for Godot)
I absolutely love the music and the punchy combat! It feels so satisfying to play, and the cats are super cute too.
Thank you! I’ll make sure to try your game.
Another cat-themed game made with Godot - our games are like siblings with very different tempos.
Love the high-paced king-of-the-hill gameplay you went with. The controls were easy to figure out and get into.
I had a hard time seeing the difference between the enemies though, and I think the dash only moves to the right? Overall a fun fast-paced game.
Thanks for the feedback. I’ll make sure to try your game. The dash is off the cursor position.
