How does the game fit the theme?
The game utilizes logic "puzzles" in which you have to talk to 3 rats, of which some of them may lie and some of them are telling the truth. You cannot trust the rats fully, but you also can't not trust them as whatever they say may help you find the way to the next room.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The assets we did not make from scratch are the sound effects and font used as well as a gif of an explosion green screen.

Great job on your first game jam! I love the art! One small critique I have is that the audio design is a bit weak other than that its a great game!

My team and I loved the vibe of this! The atmosphere really fits with the theme. I wanted the cheese.

The art is REALLY good, I loved the ending and obviously the rat meme is funny lol

Great art and cool idea. I only wish that the genre was different, the platformer gameplay does not really add much.

Really awesome art, easy 5-stars for visuals! I loved the environment and theme, and the animations are smooth and really nice! I'm not hearing any audio at all though, I assumed there was none but you mention audio assets in your description so there may be a bug there? I also couldn't figure out how to get past the dialog with the rat, or how to exit the room otherwise. A "jump" button appears but doesn't seem to do anything.
