How does the game fit the theme?
Can't say much without spoiling the entire thing, but the true intentions of the Quest-Giver and the nature of the card game you're playing are not how they might initially seem... As shown by the game mechanics, you can't even trust the loyalty of your own cards. In the end, even if you do succeed, the in-game player's own greed may still take over. There really is no one who you can trust to do the right thing.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

for ur first game jam, this is a really good start! the visuals look astonishing and the sfx and music are perfect! i also like how the cards get angry towards u instead of dying which makes this game unique. the story is also on theme and i got all 3 endings! however, i wish there was more in the final boss instead of finding something to have a guaranteed victory. overall, i really enjoyed this game!
Thanks for the feedback!
Game is fun! Love the visuals and the sounds. Card visuals could use a bit more work. It was refreshing to see a card game spun from this theme. One thing I'd suggest is to improve on the card gameplay a bit as it is the main gameplay loop. The card game was a bit repetitive until you get to the church, and the final boss was a bit underwhelming. It seems like you focused more on other aspects when most of the time the user would be playing with the cards. Just my opinion though. Really good game overall. You should be proud for this to be your first game
Thanks for playing! I ended up having to spend a lot more time working on the environments than I initially expected, so didn't really have too much time to polish the actual card game. I'll keep this in mind!
