The atmosphere is so good in this game! I beat it after a couple of attempts and the use of 3 colors feels really great. This is a great game!

The look of the game is amazing, beautiful, and scary. Loved the reason for the game name!

Developer(+1)

Hahaha so glad people are catching on to the title of the game

Excellent, excellent submission, the mood is great, and the difficulty is quite right!

First try i missed the controls (I'd recommend you add them to the game description, too).

At the end, I got killed by the unexpected repair bar, and then got humiliated by a dancing/twerking ghoul. I decided to cheese it, out of spite.

Again, great job!

Developer

Thank you so much for the feedback! I just realized there's a bug allowing you to interact with the boat even after dying, haha gonna fix that after the jam.

I'll add the controls to the description too, thanks for bringing it up.

Also, since you've got a recording I was wondering if you recorded your playthroughs? If yes, would it possible for me to check them out? I'm trying to learn game and level design so they might be very helpful.
Thanks!

Sorry, I only started recording once I died.
But it was a lot of opening the map, trying to run to a pickable, and repeat.

The level design was quite solid. My feedback would be:
* I think the map is too useful, reducing the oppressive ambience (good for a jam, but maybe should be nerfed for a longer game)
* the fact that you can walk over fences is a nice detail, not sure if intentional, a good way of kiting enemies.
* I was surprised in a good way by ladders, hard to see in the dark

Developer(+1)

That's some really good feedback! The walking over fences was an unintentional feature lucky it worked out haha.

I was initially thinking of adding a "fog of war" to the map to make it a little harder and to maintain the atmosphere but decided against it for the jam.

Thanks a lot for the feedback!

A fog of war would be a good addition!
also, a physical map you need your torch to see, making it risky.

Game is really fun and addicting. Limitation is spot on and i love the concept and presentation.

This was very suspenseful. I was so nervous about switching on the torch I probably only used it 3 times. It starts very laggy but smoothed out as i played it. all in all I enjoyed it. well done

Developer

The initial lag was a bit surprising to me too. Hopefully I can improve on the optimization next time around.

I intended for the torch to be used carefully, I feel that adds a lot more to the atmosphere and tension as you play the game. So glad you enjoyed it!

WOW. Awesome result for only 3 days. I gonna say it - HE'S GOT THE MOVES!!!!

Developer

HAHAHA, I'm actually so glad someone saw it.

Wow, the game looks amazing!

But it's hard to avoid monster's attention. They spot you instantly with the torch. Wish I had a time window to deactivate it before they spot me.

While running around the map I've noticed that the map is... HUGE. I have found only 4 planks. I wish the game was smaller in size.

But still, the result is great! A massive 3D game with appealing visuals, enemy AI, and stealth mechanics. I would never achieved the same progress in such a short time. Good work!

Developer

Thank you! This was a lot cramming throughout the 3 days but I'm so glad you liked it.

Thanks a lot for the feedback too! Switching off the torch makes them see you less and gives you a small window to run away but I do think we could've improved the mechanic a little better.
