Software used
Godot, and Krita mostly

Use of the limitation
We restricted ourselves to stick to a monochromatic grayscale look for the comic vibe. Then including a vibrant golden yellow to give accents and highlights for a better look and where need. Thus making use of only 3 colors. Black, White, and Yellow

I liked how smooth all the mechanics and also that all works on a mobile! It's really beautiful art and animations, I loved the music and sfx - all the audio fits on a 100%. You did a huge and awesome work bro <3

Developer

Thank you for trying it out. And yea although unintentional, it works pretty good on mobile too lol

This has great potential for a full Steam release, this game is really fun! Seeing the enemy's attacks and planning around that feels great, I could see this becoming a great roguelike

Developer(+1)

Thank you. We do plan to keep working on it and maybe turn it into a roguelike

A beautiful game, love the art direction you took, everything is so smoothly integrated! The monster designs UGh so cool. It's currently an endless wave right? I wonder if there's any other cowboys out there fighting! :D

I do agree with the others, tooltips would be great!

Developer

Thank you! Right now its not an endless wave, only two enemies.
And Yes I didnt have time to playtest it so I guess I misjudged the difficulty alittle. Will fix that in a future update.

Really cool idea for a game, and the visuals and sounds are very cool! But it would have been good to be taken more slowly into what the different bullets did and how to try and counter the enemy because I wasn't sure when I should use e.g. block or dodge. Maybe some tooltips and dropping the time limit (because I was still trying to remember what the different bullets did when the time ran out) would help? I also only realised at the end that the bullets are fired in the opposite order to how you load them!

It does look and sound amazing though, and there's the core of a really compelling game in there

Developer

Thank you for playing and the feedback.
And Yes I misjudged the difficulty alittle it seems. I did add a "help" section on the top right of screen which lets you open that bullet descriptions page anytime you wanna take a look at it. Tooltips would be alot better of an option in comparison though true.

This could be an extremely cool game, I can see the direction it wants to go.

Only real criticism would be some kind of on-ramp of difficulty/holster-building(?) instead of being thrown everything at once. With some balancing polish this could be very compelling.

Your art style and music are also phenomenal!
