Awesome game! I was not expecting to find this kind of "somewhat 3D" game, but you managed to do it really well. Although I wish I could see more than a few tiles in front of me, since it would help a bit with navigation. But that's probably hard to accomplish on such a small screen. Because of the visual format, I was feeling a bit lost at first. Implementing a map could help, but it depends on what kind of feel you want from your game.
I really liked the design of Ael and Eyl and how youused backtracking. Overall it's a great game.
