The mysterious atmosphere is created by beautiful visuals, a compelling world, and an interesting soundtrack. However, I think the game would benefit from providing the player with more guidance (affordance and UI).
You are absolutely right, we were short on time for the tutorial, so we had to just write instructions in the game description. Not ideal...
