How does the game fit the theme?
You try to guess the right door by deciding if the jesters are telling the truth or guiding you down the wrong path.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

OMG!!!!!! soo many doooors!!!!!!! i keep trying, again and again! finally got the secret ending! haha! it was fun tho! right on theme, trust no one!
Amazing game though ,simple but addictive
Good game. A couple things, when you fullscreen the game, it doesnt scale the viewport and lets you see out of bounds. You should make the viewport scale to the window size. It also makes it easier to know what the player is able to see. When you have a dialogue box open, you should make it close automatically if you walk away or make the player unable to move during dialogue. It can get messy cuz it can get stuck on your screen. And a couple nitpicks, the jesters should say directions based on cardinal directions, cuz stuff like "Up" or "Down" only applies to us. It doesn't make sense for the characters to use them. Some things arent outlined in black, while most things are. An example is the bridge, and it looks off compared to the rest of the world. We are able to see the front facing sides of characters, yet it looks like the world is being seen directly from top to bottom. This makes it feel inconsistent. And the water isn't animated either, making it look very dull. 1 or 2 frames could fix that. Good game though!
Thank you for the detailed reply. I've known about the viewport and pixel art thing but ran out of time (and was lazy). The pixel art was done by both me and my friend, so there were some discrepancies. Also, won't animated textures like water en mass make performance issues? Thanks again <3
i mean, many other games do it. I don't think it would be that performance intensive
Alright, I'll try that when (if) I update the game, and in my next ones. I got a bit scared when my engine said that the map file was too big or something.
Nice concept. Really liked the art for the jesters and the music fits really well.
Just a little bug, if you open the dialogue box, and leave, you cant get rid of it, you need to return to press "E" to progress and make it dissapear.
Overall great game!
Thank you for the feedback, didnt know about that one till now. I'll get to fixing :D
This is a very nice game! The logic it's based on makes it fun and the jesters dialogue was enjoyable and unique. Congratulations on your game! 🙌 (rated 5/5 on everything)
Tysm for the feedback!

Amazing Job! I like the idea of having jesters with different faces
