How does your art incorporate the theme?
The scene depicts a pair of cloaked figures venturing through a mountain forest. Spirits of questionable standing dot the way.
I started with a Lord of the Rings aesthetic in mind, but wanted to adapt that to the nature and world I'm more familiar with.

beautiful beautiful, great work.
A gorgeous landscape piece; I particularly love the shading on the mountains—they really, genuinely look like mountains, in both shape and dimensionality. The use of perspective is also wonderful. To me, the one thing that could be improved is the shape of the forest on the right... maybe it's because there aren't that many greens to work with in the color palette, but it could use more depth or detail.
Very talented piece.
Jeez, that's phenomenal. The trees are in the distance and I can still read their shape clearly... And the reflection on the water? Amazing. Among best for sure, you're very good!!
This amazing! I love the overall feel and how I keep finding new details the longer I look. The character on the right is a little hard to spot because matches the shape and color of the trees, but given the color palette it makes sense
Your art is amazing. I love the little details. Great job
majestic, bob ross would be a happy little tree if he saw this
oo i really like landscapes
Hello, this is a really nice painting. I Like the way you depicted the forest blended with the rocks in the distance. Even the mountains looks natural. I am bit confused by the patches on the lake though. Does it represent the mountain's reflection?
Thanks! That’s a fair critique regarding the water reflections. I was going for dawn with the sun off screen to the right and the light reflecting of the rock faces on the left hill, but perhaps that’s a bit much.
The way you did the snow on the mountains is amazing! It was a little unclear to me where the reflection on the water came from, since the light source was coming from the right. I also like the subtle little "easter egg" of the bear in the shadows.
This is so good. I like all the little details that you put into it.
Whoa… this is stunning!!
