How does the game fit the theme?
Circle of Trust is about pushing people away. The idea of Trust No One applied to the psychological idea that people who have been physically or mentally abused tend to lock them selves away and closing themselves off in order to protect themselves from the potential of getting harmed again, no longer trusting anyone, becoming secluded and alone. The no music/sound also plays into the atmosphere of being secluded and how silence can be deafening, especially to someone who is lonely and secluded
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
none

Love the concept but needs a bit of polishing
That’s a very interesting concept, congrats! I especially liked the theme consistency kept with the UI, having the hearts go from empty to full.
I’m not sure that there is a need to add more difficulty to the game, it’s difficult enough with just the base enemies.
One bug worth fixing though, the barrier walls are also triggering the damage collision.
Thanks for the feedback and bug report, the bug is fixed now so hopefully that makes it a little bit easier being able to hug the walls and not be punished, hopefully it didn't break anything but it doesn't look like it did to me. Glad you like the concept! The intention was to make it hard, but maybe I went to far, if I continue to work on it and clean some stuff up I can readjust, what do you think the main contribution to the difficulty is?
I’m not sure if you changed something there but the PC feels faster now? or maybe it’s just because there is more ‘playable’ area with the walls fixed.
It feels better now (even though I still haven’t been able to win xD).
I think my biggest issue (might be a skill issue) is that towards the end I end up getting surrounded and, because of the collisions I end up with nowhere to run.
I’d say making the ‘enemies’ colliders just triggers, so they don’t stop the PC movement, would give a better fighting chance without taking away from the experience.
I didn't change anything with the PC, all I did was fix the walls, but I'm glad it feels better regardless.
I will be adding instructions to the page but just wanted to mention in case you didn't realize as it is not very clear (which is why i will be adding instructions, bad design on my part) but you can click on the enemies to push them away, and if you push them away enough times they will "walk away" and disappear, which might make the game a little easier, also you decrease the meter when they "walk away" from you.
Hopefully that makes the game a little easier and more enjoyable.
