I could play it, and I liked the bright visuals! It's got a pretty cool style.
For the tutorial, the typing speed is a little slow, so it takes a bit for the words to all show up. It'd be cool if pressing Y once skipped the typing animation, and then pressing y again lets you go to the next part of the tutorial.
I didn't make it to the end of the game. I played twice, and timed out the first time, and died when opening a door the second time. I didn't end up seeing a monster or anything on the cameras.
Great job! I'm sure this was a lot of work!

i couldn’t really play it much because it is lagging so much (r5 3500u integrated graphics), but looks cool

Hey, I try to play the game, but it keeps crashing after a while. I wasn't able to complete the tutorial.

Sorry I did not have time to optimize the game

cool game, good job!

Developer

Thanks

Wowee so bright !
I speed ran it and was able to complete a run in about 26.7 seconds (I'm estimating based on my body's internal clock) so I challenge anyone to try and beat that 😤💪

Developer

So you finished in 20 seconds by the way good luck on the game jam

Cool game. Reminds me a bit of Paper's Please. I did notice a bug where you can edit the text when viewing the cameras and there was a typo in the intro "conaminated" but overall a fun experience!

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks a lot and thanks for letting me know of the bug and good luck on your game I love it

So, first things firs: the style and the theme interpretation are great, love the vibe and the way it feels. The not so great: predefined stuff, would prefer some more randomness and the optimization. I understand that unreal is hard to optimize if you're not used to it and you're using for a quick project, in those cases I would say use a pre-made optimized template OR use unity which in itself is lighter. But nonetheless, good job and good luck to you!

Developer

Thanks a lot and good luck to you too

I think that the game would benefit from some procedural generation/randomization and an increased time limit. Other than that it was interesting game

Developer

Thanks a lot for your suggestions

doesnt run in win 11

Developer

Sorry for that I didn't have time to optimise my game i made it in unreal engine so the optimization sucks and it needs to render every camera at once but thanks for letting me know

Love the style of your game! I think it needs more explanation on what you are doing and I feel like I should be able to open the doors without having to be basically connected to the door

Developer

Thanks a lot for letting me know I made the collision small because to prevent accidentally opening the wrong door

I love the colors.  I admit had to basically make memory out of the camera system though. Did I miss a hint somewhere on which camera feeds were untrustworthy? If I didn't, I'd recommend having some hint, visual or auditory, maybe?

Developer

All right thanks for the advice il try to change the itch.io page to make it more clear on what your doing

Submitted(+1)

i realy love it

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks a lot good luck on your game too

I think it was a bit unclear of what to do, my guess is that you should check which camera matches the actual door's surroundings. But scanning through each camera and each door is quite time consuming, so I didn't have enough time :(. But nice work!

Thanks for feedback next time I'll try better next time but good luck to you too
