Interesting game! I can tell that it can get pretty deep once you upgrade enough, but I do have to admit that earning money was really slow. I'm not sure if I'm missing an upgrade or something, but it definitely felt like I was supposed to be earning more quickly. Other than that, there's a lot of interesting systems that play together very well, and I can tell that this game would be great to play for a long period of time. Good job!

Cool concept! The main issue for me is the UI. The text was really hard to read, even after changing the fonts. I know a lot of people have already mentioned the UI, but yeah, I think it could use some polishing. Still, it’s a really nice game!

Banger game. I’m genuinely impressed by how much u were able to do in the short timeframe of the jam! The visuals are so peak too!! Well done!!!!

I really adoree the visuals! Kinda reminds me of those old school windows xp style UI. Though the gameplay I would say needs a bit more elaboration. I can tell that there's a lot of depth here based on what I can see on the screen, but displaying everything in one go is a bit daunting for me (could be just a skill issue thing on my part xD). It also gets a bit repetitive after quite some time unfortunately. The sound effects are effective but I do wish there was some sort of music to accompany the game! Overall, this was pretty unique and the visuals were awesome but the gameplay needs a bit more polish which I encourage you to work on more afterwards! Great work on the game!

yeah the visuals are very cluttered, but I did implement a tutorial in the game. It triggers when the first account dies. Maybe I should remove the first account. The power ups nd all slowly unlock from around 5 minutes of gameplay. Thank you for your incredibly detailed opinion

Yeah I did notice the tutorial, which is pretty good but I think the tutorial didn't go into a deep enough level of the game. Maybe as the game goes on, some aspects of the game can get introduced one by one maybe? I think only playtesting can tell which one could work best!

Not my cup of tea, yet it’s a solid submission!

Very unique submission, there was a LOT to explore in there and I absolutely loved the aesthetic of the game! Great job on making all that yourself, that's really impressive :0

Developer

That's alright!

interesting idea, i liked the windows 95 style!

Very original concept! I think we need to come up with a solution for the interface's progressive clutter, and then it’ll be a real gem.

Loved the vibe of this one, some of the generated posts were hilarious. Clicked nuke account just to see and it was well worth it :y

Love the early 2000s aesthetic!

I love the visuals! Creating posts was really fun too! Great job, this is an amazing game!

posted "the league keeps getting away with the traffic on the ring road" and watched it get flagged unshockable because nothing in it connects, which is such a smart way to model fake news. the win98 desktop chaos sells the whole bit, i kept going back, good job

The glitch feature made a lot of things hard to read, especially on non-fullscreen mode. That being said, its a cool concept that I'd love to see developed further! Creating sometimes nonsense posts like "Your landlord used your money on half the internet" was very entertaining

parliament keeps talking about the bird flu! #true
The screen is so active and some of the things you see being posted are quite funny.
Very original! The screen got a bit too noisy for me after a while. (dark mode??)

Developer (1 edit)

hehe yeah I should add a disable glitch feature. Maybe I should add more speech fragments. Did you get to the part where you can buy more fragments?

Really original, love the artisitic direction you took, had fun playing and fits the theme well!
