itch.io

Love the crunchy aesthetic! Its a bit hard to understand if there's a pattern to NPCs wanting higher quality goods back to back or not.

The ending was amazing, what a twist!

FANTASTIC ART! I absolutely love the blend of pixel art and anime here, it's a style I've been chasing after myself. I love the chessboard theme and the take on the theme. Amazing work and grats on shipping!

Loved the palette! The camera was a bit shakier than I'd have liked but great take on the concept!

One of my favorites! I really liked being able to also pickpocket between targets so there's still something to do while making your way over. The camera controls feel a bit wonky but I very much enjoyed the game overall. Gratz on shipping!

Love the artwork! Very incredible for a 2 person team, especially with art and code done from scratch. Settings and UI are very clean!

The controls were a bit awkward but I loved the artwork and music box theme!

spacebar does work but after pressing it the scene stalls

I love the concept! I wish I had some UI to tell me my score while playing. Very enjoyable for a game!

Seems like the game breaks at the first duel regardless of performance. I enjoyed the artstyle and defo would've liked to see more.

It looks very interesting but I had issues where the game just stopped doing anything despite any input. Wish you all the best!

Loved the y-bill boarding effect! Very much reminds me of a DST aesthetic. I wasn't expecting a 3D world from the title screen but was pleasantly surprised! Gratz on shipping!

I absolutely loved the art, amazing work! I really want to play a game set in this world you drew. Grats on shipping!

I really wanted to throw more bombs more often but I did enjoy the gameplay and how they rolled!

I LOVED the music! Amazing work on the audio aspect of the game!

I had some issues getting controls to take when I loaded the page (used ctrl+R to try to reload but it lets the MKB take over then without having to reload anyways).

Love the concept! Great work doing this in Pico8 as well!

Reminds me a lot of hand simulator in terms of controls, great work!

Love the early 2000s aesthetic!

Loved the aesthetic! The artwork and audio is top notch, I loved the palette. I also recognized dialogue manager, game sees game :D

Amazing animations and I love the palette! I think you could take it further and add some whacky tiles to change how the board might operate

Rare to see an RPG for a game jam! Amazing work on this. I really enjoyed the animations for the character but felt it was a bit out of place with the tileset.

Very difficult to navigate, a kind of trail/marker would be really helpful, a great take for a rage game!

Love the black and white palette, the music also was really good! Some of the base audio effects mightve been a bit loud though but still great work!

Loved the music! Very calm and relaxing while also spooky!

I loved the tileset and palette you used! I'd have loved to see an outline and compass to help with the navigation.

Loved the cartoon style! Very creative!

Love the papercraft/carboard style! Reminds me so much of the paper mario series!

I like the premise and theme but it was hard to feel like I had any agency in any of the choices etc. Not bad for a demo though!

The aesthetics were a bit hard to digest and the audio was a bit grating, but I did enjoy the 8 bit render of the 'troll' in there!

Love the chess aesthetic for the theme and was very original!

I like the neon palette!

Love the artstyle and tileset work! The audio effects were very satisfying

Loved this take on sukoban!

Great take on pick a path!

I love the aesthetic but it's sometimes a bit frustrating to get further into a given level only to be sent back with no indication as to why.

Well done! A great take on tit for tat and the cooperation scenario in game theory.
