How does the game fit the theme?
The game is built entirely around the concept of distrust. The player is a lumberjack trying to escape a war-torn island, but he cannot trust the traders who scam him, the civilians who might be spies, or even the Mariner who sells the ferry ticket. Hidden mines and artillery strikes add to the paranoia.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I made everything from scratch. I didn't even use assets.

Controls were really hard to get used to. Gameplay is quite deep. I appreciate the handcrafted artstyle. Good job!
I decided to create a unique movement mechanic instead of copying Hotline Miami.
This was a very fun and chaotic game. Loved the art and Hotline Miami vibes!
im Cooking guys !
Really cool setup... starting as just a lumberjack and then ending up in the middle of a war trying to earn enough money to escape is pretty funny and dark at the same time. I also like that basically everyone and everything can screw you over :D Fits the theme really well. Nice idea overall and had fun with it.
Great game! Like Hotline Miami! I rated yours, feel free to test my game too! :D
