Ran into a similar lock but with the treasures bunny mom once i found them all and swung back around. Was the first quest I attempted and didn't stop for anything else along the way. Was fine at the fishing bit though.
Unfortunately I can't manage to reproduce these bugs, that's really weird. I guess it's time to give up on unreal
