We use Linux. I tried to play your game using Lutris (Wine), but got an error when starting. Maybe it is just an issue using Wine, though we regularly play jam games this way and I don't recall seeing this error before.

Wine is an emulator used to play Windows games on Linux. It does a pretty good job these days and can play most games. It is the software the powers Steam's Proton for playing Windows games on Linux, including the Steam Deck. If you plan to release on Steam, and want to support Steam OS/Steam Deck, you may run into this as an issue. I understand focusing on what you know, and Windows is still the largest target audience, but Linux is growing as more people get frustrated with Windows. If you are willing to give me some additional details, I'll take another look into it. A general search on just the error was not getting me anywhere with what I had.
