Jokes aside, this was really fun! I love how the “Trust no one” theme is built directly into the cats themselves, especially with the risk of them turning on you. The more sacrifices = stronger cats but more danger was a really cool touch too. The whole thing gets SO chaotic once you have a little cat army running around lol.

Catastrophe gang! Glad you like our game, but, uh... you're not actually gonna send hired hitmen after us, right? Catastrophe looks absolutely stunning, we're honoured to have coincidentally picked twin names with such a beautiful game. As a bonus fun fact, we originally intended to have one more cat variant when four or more food items are sacrificed, the greedy cat Fatso who rolls towards mice (and the player if not fed VERY frequently). We also intended to have different sprites for tiers of cats and mice but personally I think it's pretty funny just to have slightly bigger cats shooting storms of fireballs.
