How does the game fit the theme?
The theme "Trust No One" is at the core of the game.

You play as a damned soul gambling your way through the underworld for another chance at life. Each opponent you face is another untrustworthy soul competing for the same thing.

The game is built around Liar's Dice, where bluffing, deception, reading your opponent, and deciding whether to trust their claims are the central mechanics. Every bid forces you to decide, are they telling the truth, or are they lying through their teeth.

Trust the wrong person, and the souls you wager may become theirs.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
With the exception of a third-party 3D paper lantern model, all code, artwork, music, sound effects, 3D assets, UI, shaders, and other game content used in the submitted build were created by our team during the jam.

Amazing art and a killer atmosphere that pulls you right into the gamble. Gameplay mixes strategy and luck in a fun way. Super addictive and impressively polished overall.

Shame you didn't get the lantern done for the souls but otherwise pretty solid game. Good job devs

Incredible presentation. Beautiful work. GG!

Probably the best i played so far!! the presentation is very well done, the visuals and audio are pretty nice aswell, my only two gripes are having a drop down instead of having to type out the numbers, the other thing is that (unless im missing something) near the end of each round it basically becomes less strategic and more luck based where you can lose everything just because you guessed wrong, on the other hand doing multiple small wagers does make it play out a little too long even for the very first opponents

those minor stuff aside really well done game!!

The audio and art are gorgeous, congrats !!!!

Ooh that was really slick! I'm terrible at these kind of games but I managed to get to the third opponent at least! The comic style character art and overall atmosphere was *chef's kiss*

My god the art and music are pretty impressive. The opening scene really immersed me into the experience. You definitely captured the perfect vibe for a haunting game of dice with evil souls. Love it. Would definitely appreciate if you all could also rate and leave a constructive comment on my game :). https://weazel1.itch.io/lieght-the-way

Highest production value entry of the submissions I have played. The 2D art is amazing and solid gameplay.

The art style in this one is amazing. The audio also enhances the atmosphere a lot. I like the gameplay too, but I realize I am perhaps bad at this game of dice lol. Amazing job on this game.
