Hey hey! I'm back!

So, to put this plainly: another yap sesh! I hope I can somewhat keep the topics in a readable and organisable manner, but we'll see.

To adress the most important: your instructions (the one with alt+enter) worked! And so does the second one with Options scroll by way of up and down.

However, this only solved the fullscreen fiasco I got myself in, it didn't stop the room itself from turning into this  pale 'ghost' like setting where the camera controls simply didn't function (not even the shortcut functions like U-O or J-L worked) and was situated a little further away than would normally be when the fight starts. How do I know that?

Idk I went goblin mode and tried everything. So after screwing about for like an hour or two I decided to finally click on the  'Scenario' option when doing the 'Challenge (vs)' and suddenly found myself in an actual arena, the intimate room one I guess. Suddenly I not only had controls of the camera, but also actual difference in POV and everything, lighting, effects like sweat and arousal were actually seen, features too actually loaded in into view instead of just the bare models duking it out from a still point.

I think the way you said 'arenas' in your response to me, implies that there are supposed  to be way more, cuz indeed, when I actually  paid attention, there's no actual things/portraits within the grey screen between the two characters just before fight.

Okay let me try to give a better image of what I can do: I first use Scenario to actually get me somewhere workable (albeit still limited in terms of arena's). I can fully use the camera system, though I haven't tried Gallery/Replay yet (I have clicked it but like nah I wasn't feeling it.) Virtually everything works (like effects) And AFTER the scenario I CAN use Fight to get me into an actual fight! (With all the actual gaming features added + same for Tournament!) Though always in the intimate bedroom. Hell, I notice if I go to Tournament, even if I click on the Stage/Arena, it doesn't do anything, even after the Scenario shenanignans, so hmm.

In short: I gotta do a whole ass partner vs rival ritual to actually get this game to kinda work, which I find to be kinda funny actually. I swear, you will not finad a single IOTA of hate or side-eye in my comment. (Genuinely! I'm having a good time!)

Like idk how you can even help me here, I think my laptop is just a gigaracist against Godot or something damn.

Anyway I have more things to add, but I'll post a second comment to make it more readable.

This must be one of the strangest issues i have ever heard described. What configuration are you running this on? How much RAM do you have, and what video card? Do you have the latest video drivers installed? Just for the kick, try running the BFP_hi_perf_*.bat file instead of BFP.exe. That switches rendering to use the mobile Godot engine, and is lighter on resources.

I honestly do not know what to say otherwise. It feels like you got parts of the interface missing. Yes, between the characters on the Stage (arena) selection screen there should be a table of arena names, which you would normally click. The background should also reflect the arena you have selected. If you click blindly between the two characters, then click Fight, are you able to get in another arena? Also, are you by any chance running the game on a right-to-left language setting? (although the symptoms don't match anything anyone has ever brought up)

>This must be one of the strangest issues i have ever heard described.

T_T Immm SORRRYYYYY. Is this what that one patient feels like when the doctor says he can name his own special case of disease?

RAM is 4.00 GB, video card is a NVIDIA GeForce 610M (2GB).

I think I do have the latest video drivers installed...? Admittedly I don't know what that is exactly. Do you mean Processor? Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz .

I hope that helped. As for running the other one: Just tried it. Exact same result.

Blindly clicking the selection screen for arena didn't work, implying that the parts aren't hidden, but indeed actually missing. And at no time did the background at the selection screen turn into anything different, the same darkish grey.

> a right-to-left language setting?

Can't find it in Options. Where is that and what even is it? Like just any western language? Like English? Yeah, the words go from left to right. You the:

(characters)(stats)(customization)(model).

I'm sorry for giving you trouble man :(

Ah, that sounds like it probably is the issue. RAM is very low (my recommendation would be at least 8GB, just in case), and the video card is very very old. I'm actually surprised you managed to get the game to run at all. If running BFP_hi_perf_*.bat file instead of BFP.exe doesn't inprove things, then probably nothing will. It's likely the card doesn't fully support vulkan, which Godot and the game use for rendering.

The language setting was referring to Windows, not the game. You can safely ignore that, we gave established the issue.

And lol, you're not giving me any trouble. Tbh I suspected older hardware might be the culprit here. As I said, I'm quite surprised you got the game running. :) But nice

Damn. Also, the other reply you gave: I'll try to limit the amount of blabber. I really hope I didn't came across as demanding or whiny, it wasn't my intention man.

Either way, you're chill as hell even with the bs going on. I really wish I was in a position to do the Patreon, cuz I can't really afford to buy a newer, better engine.

But in any case, I'm still enjoying the game for what it is! I'll drop the bombardement of suggestions too then.

I wish you a good night!

No, you haven't gone across as any of those things, no worries :)
