A complete mini metroidvania in a game jam. NPCs, bosses, upgrades, hidden walls, collectibles… IN A GAME JAM! I am beyond impressed not only with how much stuff is packed into the game but with the fact that it feels so good to play. I really love the choice of using a dash-like mechanic where other games would have just gone for a simple jump. This is beyond good! Props!
I've played a ton of metrioidvanias that all do things like "jump dash", "wall climb" etc as power ups - the ones in this game felt very original and well integrated into the game play and boss fights.
The art, combat, level design and gameplay were all top notch.
I thoroughly enjoyed this well done!
Thank you very much, that's high praise!
What a nice metroidvania we have here! I’m impressed with how much you did with so little time in this jam. Awesome game!
The game looks great, and I really like that you can't shoot right away, but have to find the weapon first. One thing I would also like is better jumping. Great game!
It's a lot of fun. It strongly reminds me of one of my favorite games - Environmental Station Alpha.
I love how the first thing you choose to do is to let go. There is something there for an even bigger more expressive game to explore.
Extremely impressive game! It's a very full featured metroidvania considering the time and (jam-imposed) technical limitations. A map and inventory screen, multiple bosses, a bunch of hidden upgrades and collectables... the works! Having no jump button is an interesting idea and leads to needing to think about how to navigate in a very different way.
If I had to make one criticism, it's the fact that it can be ambiguous whether the edge of the screen is a room transition, wall, or pit. It would also be nice if there was a button or something to quickly check your health.
Ooh!! Love it love it love it! Movement is really fun, especially in the latter portions, and everything is nice and readable. The music is mysterious, yet charming. The characters are lovely; the bosses are especially cute!
I think the pseudo-analog effects are employed quite nicely; they are present enough to aid in fidelity without being distracting.
Definitely going to finish this later; I unfortunately got stuck inside this wall. I might have accidentally pressed into it.
Great game!
Ah man I missed a spot! You can always refresh the page and reload your save, rip
Really like the level designs, and just the fact that your mouth is a gun.
Impressive minivania, principally considering the restrictions.
Wow, great game. Nice level designs, the game plays smoothly, and the visuals are really good. Congrats
Muy bueno
