Wow! This was so much fun, I've been playing around for 15mins. I've been moving around my mouse like this was an aim trainer.

Not being able to keep up with the fires as the game progresses followed by the final screen really sold the message. Super impressive to be able to submit a game with such polish and such a cool message!

This is a very evocative experience, great work! It's also just very visually striking, and the melodic sound effects for each new fire is nice.

A nice quick game that's well polished for the time frame.

Great concept, great message. The lack of solutions puts the gameplay behind but that's obviously a choice to serve the message. That's a pure awareness campaign that feels like fatality. An updated version could integrate a gameplay around solutions so it actually becomes optimistic.

Thanks!
I agree that's quite depressing, I guess it is just a reflection on my own powerlessness.
As I don't have a solution, it felt wrong to add one to the game. I considered linking to an ONG, but felt superficial as I am not informed enough.

Literally my thinking process during the game:

  • Wow, cool-looking map...
  • I was not prepared for aiming simulator!
  • That's too overwhelming!!
  • Oh, a deep social message in the gameplay!!!

The concept is 10 out of 10! I understand why it's so intense in the end, and I like it. At the same time, I would like to have an opportunity to play the game with more balanced progression in a separate mode. It could be unlocked only after the first run.

Overall, the game is great and the message is important and well-delivered!

Thanks ! That's exactly what I was going for, come for the visuals, stay for challenge, get stopped by the message.

I agree that it could be a game with more attention for the balancing, but this one was about the message.
That's why there isn't a RESTART button.
