i JUST bought this game and it won't even download. it keeps giving me this weird error, "file wasn't available on site". i tried every available windows download link and none of them work. is this a chrome issue? i'm fully connected to the internet so i don't see what the problem is. kinda sucks that i bought the game and can't even play it

I've had multiple people reporting this, and I don't know what's going on with Itch to cause it.

Unfortunately all I can offer is checking the download buttons from the game under your own Itch library: /my-collections

Additionally, people have reported that using a VPN to change their country makes the download work?? Baffling if true, but that's also a high ask to say "just use a VPN."
