I love how the story eventually came back full circle, been waiting to see what happened to Man-O-War, Blowtorch and Spider Crab since episode 1. The Grey Avians are exactly the kinds of villains I thought this should have since the beginning, the rest just seemed like jokes, but apparently, that was intentional. I didn't like the fact that they always took BB down so easily though, bro needs to up his game. But the storytelling, the DIALOGUE, BB's quips, EVERYTHING! Dude! 10/10. this is a masterpiece! I love the art style too, but I'm pretty sure I've said that before. 😂😅 Can't wait to see where this goes.

Thank you so much for your comments, dude! It's really good to know that out there, there's somebody who's really supportive and excited about this series!
Man 'O War, Blowtorch, and Spider-Crab's fates are one of a few story threads that have been set up in the past, and getting to finally give the answer has been really rewarding. There are still a few setups from the past that have to be clarified and also some new plot points that will emerge in the future, so stay tuned!
The Grey Avians are also some of my favourites, even from way before this iteration of the comic began! It's funny that you mention it, but they've technically always been here from the beginning! I'm not sure if you've noticed, but Owl and Corvid actually appear in silhouette at the end of Issue #01! Their beaks were just concealed to prevent people from being distracted by that weird detail, and Owl actually sports an eariler design, with her suit having a shorter skirt instead of the current big, flowing dress.
To be fair to the other bad guys, some of them were really tough fights for Blade Boy! I'm also glad that the Grey Avians came off as such a threat. I was really focused on giving them a strong, intimidating introduction, by having them effortlessly defeat Blade Boy. A fun detail I put in BB and Owl's first fight scene is that Blade boy didn't manage to land a single hit on Owl! Really wanted to emphasise how she's probably the most skilled fighter in the series!
Also, huge thanks for your glowing feedback on my writing skills! It's really something I try and work hard on, because even if the art is good, a weak script will make it all fall flat. Sometimes I worry if some plot points don't make sense, come off as too corny (but not in the good way), or don't convey exactly what I want, so your review has really given me a big confidence boost! Hope you enjoy what's in store!
As you've mentioned in your other comment, yeah, the long gap between issues is kind of a pain, but it's necessary evil. It's really just the minimum amount of time I need to write the script, letter it, and do all the inks and colours all while dealing with some other commitments. I don't have a backlog of material to fall back on, and all the scripts are pretty much written from scratch at the start of the production cycle. I usually don't even finish on time, or just barely, so production time might get even longer in the future, but I'm glad that it seems to have been worth it! The long gap is also kind of a problem with how continuity-focused and serialised the story is now, which is unfortunate, but I guess it is what it is.
Again, thanks so much for being so amazingly supportive of this series! Every ounce of feedback is super helpful to me. I hope your enjoyment of this series will only grow as the story progresses, and I'll see you in October for Issue #08!
Duh! Of course I noticed. 😂After the reveal, I went back to #1 to check and I was like oh! So that's who these guys are. And yeah, Owl definitely comes off as one the best fighters in there! Great job on that. And about the gap between releases, I completely understand, I've had several projects I was barely able to keep up with as well, juggling so many things, so it's really impressive that you've been consistent for this long. And you also knew exactly how to pace it from the start, rather than having the gap slowly increase with each new release, and yup, it's definitely worth it. I'm looking forward to the coming episodes as well!
