Over about the past decade. they've been doing a lot of things to piss a lot of people off. In my personal case, issues started when they turned the Steam client into a health hazard in 2019. I can't use it, and I've functionally had my game library (worth around $3000) stolen from me because of it.
Their responses to being made aware of the problem (which happened within days of them causing the problem, but I didn't find out until later) include:
-promising to do nothing, in spite of knowing it's potentially going to hospitalise people.
-following through on that promise for 7 years and counting.
-deliberately violating privacy rights of affected (former) customers.
-at least 2 instances I know of where they've tried to coerce people affected by this issue into self-harm, and confirmed they're doing so deliberately.
Given how severe their abusive behaviour relating to the issue has been, at this point I'm never going back even if they do fix the original problem.
