Sorry, Ms Taylor, I was wondering. For the rooms in a house, are we to assume that it has the things needed per room (e.g: Bathroom has toilets and a shower, etc., or the living room has preexisting couches, etc.).

Or can anybody explain 🙏🏼

With aestethics upgrades you can give another feel to the room and you can rename the rooms,i think the rooms are having different types of floors, walls or cellings, like tiles for bathrooms and kitchens and wood or something like that for study and the rest of the rooms.

With the exception of the flat when you make a new save, every single other house that you move to will be completely empty with no descriptions or pre-existing objects. The names of each room are kind of arbitrary as a result and you can change their names to whatever you want. You can buy/make some utilities and decor in the catalogue (like couches or paintings) and furnish each room however you like.

Alright, thank you both, but I get what we're adding to the rooms and whatnot. But, like, aside from the aesthetic additions, are we to imagine that the things needed in some of the rooms are there, and we are just adding some things to the house

For example, a bathroom should already have a toilet, and shower since they are not part of what we are to add to the rooms?

Yes, they do currently require a bit of imagination regarding what else might be in the room. I'll continue to release new home upgrades over time to help with this.

I always rename all of the rooms and furnish them as i want to. So for me buying houses empty is convenient. Pre existing / automated furniture should be optional (maybe an auto furnish button).

Btw.: waiting for more bathroom equipment - shower cubicle, bathtub etc ...

Thank you this answers my question
