How does the game fit the theme?
The game aligns with the theme because the player starts out in a village where no one trusts him. No one in this village trusts anyone else, and the goal is to regain the trust of the entire village.
Basically, I interpreted the “Trust No One” theme from the NPCs’ perspective. The player tries to prove themselves to be reliable, but it’s difficult because everyone is very skeptical.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Some of the 2D art (characters and tilemap), music, and fonts.

A good explanation of the topic, but I didn't always understand which image to choose for which emotion. I read the "How to Play" carefully, but it still didn't always help
Thank you for the feedback. I see what I can do to make everything clearer and less confusing.
Very nice use of the theme. The game is overly difficult and confusing. I was able to get one person to trust me, then lost to the second each time I tried. It feels like too much of a guessing game vs skill.
Great presentation and idea though. GG!
Thank you for your feedback! What did you find confusing? Are the emotes not clear enough or is it something else?
I thought it was very on theme, and the general look of the game is very cute! one thing that was difficult is that because i am on a bigger monitor, when i interact with an NPC that is in the top of the screen, i was trying to see what the villager's response was and then what my button options were, and i had to keep looking up and down and up and down again which slowed me down. I like the button options and their variety. it is very cute overall!! nice work.
Hello, sorry for the late reply. Firstly, thank you for your feedback!!
How big is your monitor? I think I have various solutions to fix this problem. One, it is to make the village big enough to make the camera follow the player and zoom in a bit, so you don't have to look up and down through the whole screen. Another thing I could do is to add some UI near the player emotes and leave the camera fixed. I will see what I can do.
I am happy to see that you like the graphic. I hope all assets (made by others or me) are blending sufficiently well because they are all a bit different style-wise
