How does the game fit the theme?
You are an infiltrator, abusing the trust of the characters on board the ship
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Font: Anta (https://github.com/Typedesigners/Anta-Regular)
Also some talk-chirp sound effects borrowed from a previous project of mine

Insanely funny heartbreaking and disgusting at some points. Played for more than 2 hours and enjoyed every second of it. Outstanding work and great twist on the Theme. Would replay a fully finished version of it with all the minor bugs fleshed out. Honestly incredibly good characters. Much love <3
I love the interpretation! WE are the one not to trust
Scarily satisfying to get to know the characters and figure out ways to kill them off one by one. My favourite moment was towards the end (spoilers): The captain had locked herself up and the shifter used all the other appearances to convince her to open the door, horrifying!
Cool little idea, being the infiltrator on the ship and using mimicry fits the jam theme nicely. I liked the creature designs and the weird talk-chirp sounds haha, and the extra interaction text gave the world some personality. Kinda a bummer the web version bugs out with the backgrounds, but still a neat one :)
Haha funny text sound I like the design for the creatures, the additional description of the interaction is also very interesting to read. I think it would be cool if the creatures had a couple different expressions or emotes, would help the immersion a bit. Love the idea that I get to explore the ship and stuff. Minor complaint but I wish the text was a bit narrower, would make it easier for me to read (though maybe that’s just me lol)
Story spoilers
The bed corpse was defintely shocking. I liked that twist. This cosmic horror imposter story game was well executed! I think there might have been some conversation flow logic issues, I'm pretty sure I salt killed Gaston, but he was back after I interviewed the Hobbos? I killed Gaston several times but it didn't seem to progress past thatOverall lovely game! I wish I got to see it with the backgrounds.
Thanks for the feedback! Different expressions are definitely on the to-do list. (Our artist gave us some alternate sprites for varying levels of suspicion/alarm but unfortunately we didn't finish integrating the suspicion system, hence why that alarm bar over characters' heads stays mostly static!) I'll look into why dead characters aren't being taken off the board, that's definitely a bug.
Our artist did some amazing work for the backgrounds in this game! Unfortunately something broke in the web version of the game and background transitions don’t occur. We’ll have to post a fixed version after the jam rating period ends
