The art looks fabulous!!! Love that the characters have different expressions. The flashing of the attack made it a bit hard to judge where the hitbox was. Love the mechanic though! Yayyy happy ending. Good difficulty progression with the enemies, good blend of storytelling and action. Overall really neat game! Great work!
Love the intro music! The character is simple but cute! I got jumpscared by the talking haha. I think there was a force applied pushing the player to the right, made it feel a bit hard to move at times, made the controls feel a bit unresponsive. The visual effectsfor the glitch are nice! Interesting concept!
I like the music and the art style! Sounds cute hehe. Its a bit hard to see the text over the hand cause the contrast is a bit low. The little guy was so cute I didn’t want to steal from him haha. I think the increment rate was a bit slow, took too long to get new upgrades, and the upgrades i did get didn’t feel like much. The UI for the upgrade screen is very nice though! Overall good job!
Thank you for your feedback! I only realized belatedly that I maybe added too many controls when trying to create the instructions page HAHA. Definately want to streamline it a bit like you suggest. To be honest my only real tie to the theme is the intro comic so yeah thats fair lol. Thanks for playing!
I like the font choice for title screen hehe. Admittedly I had trouble understanding what the effects on the objects were? Love the use of lighting and that the gun faces the direction of shooting! Nice effects for the shots and reload! Wish there was a way to dodge the enemy or shield against it. Overall interesting game!
Very nice UI design! The visuals giving clover pit vibes, I like it! Wish the text was a bit faster though. The keypad numbers were a bit small on my screen relative to the buttons. Really love the warped screen for the tablet! Nic looking UI. Was expecting something more to happen if I put in wrong numbers though. Overall this game is very polished and I hope to see more! Good job!
Ooo fancy splash screen very nice hehe. Juicy start screen UI. Very cool that the environment is changed with what happens in the game. The art looks cool! I like the camera movement for the death scene. Sometimes zombies kill the survivors off screen so that part felt a bit unfair. Sometimes the npc would block my shots too. Nice and juicy shoot effects! I felt compelled to try it a few times even though I kept dying haha. Overall great work!
Thanks hehe! I honestly spent the first few days on the movement logic and combat that in the end most of the UI and visual stuff are just Kenney’s assets HAHA. I like your suggestion of enemy targeting, might use that in a game more focused on unit task allocation rather than swarm movement control owo. Thanks for all your feedback and also thanks for playing!
Love the sound effect for when the king receives his food haha. Characters are cute, and the environment looks nice. I kept feeding my king chocolate over and over lol. There was a bug where I accidentally took a wrong order, went back to try and dump it, ended up giving 2 orders at the same time. I find it very funny that the kitchen keeps preparing food the king does not want. Bizzare food combos but making me hungry all the same HAHA. Overall very intersting and unique experience! Great work!
The art style is very creepy. Curious how you animated the sprites for the characters. The music and sound effects do such an excellent job of adding to the tense atmosphere. I wa a bit confused at the objective of the game, and what the button meant. It was a really interesting concept and well executed! Great work!
I like the motion blur effect when the character is moving! Movement feels responsive and juicy. A bit confused why enemies had 2 health bars? The flowing style of the background looks very cool. The visual design is nice and colorful. Was a bit hard to control movement and shooting and the same time since the keys were all on the left side of the keyboard. The music was nice and the sound effects were well chosen. Overall good job!
Oh noooo :( For bug fixing purposes, what did you try to do for this bug, and what was the expected outcome? I would like to know where the misconception happened if you have time to answer, thanks! And thanks for trying out my game though!
Controls
For the actual controls you needed to change your mode, then drag the mouse to trigger the paint (cause if I triggered it every frame it might lag a lot haha, so I only paint while moving and on mouse down.Beautiful itch page! The art is so cute! The concept is hiliarious and I like the character designs! I love playing as a little gremlin agent of chaos hehehe! I was stuck on level 3 where it kept hitting the carts instead of the person to aggro. The sound effects are so mischevious and silly, and I love the bgm. Overall great work!
Love the little running animation! Nice energetic music. Attacks were nice and juicy, and the music was boppin! I like the cooldown feedback from the attack meter visual. I had a lot of fun just running around wreaking havoc haha. Wasnt sure what the goal was though. I feel bad for fighting my fellow felines 😭 Overall Great work!
Love the comic at the start. I like the boomeraing movement! I got into a fight with the immortality guy and died, then I spawned outside the fight and I think I got softlocked? I went to fight the owl but he was a bit hard for me to defeat too. I think adding more feedback for hits, or when I get damaged would be useful. Also a way to lock my sword direction without it facing just where I’m looking cause it’s hard to control. This was a very ambitous project for a solo dev, impressed you made such a large map and so many NPCs! Good job!
Nice 3D assets! I felt like I was fighting with the cute characters from cloudy with a chance of meatballs 😭😭😭 I think the attack needed a bit more feedback, and a bit faster cooldown with how fast the enemies sprinted towards me haha. Really unique concept of having to fight your food haha! Great work!
Nice pixel art, animations and soundtrack! Idk why but this game gives touch detective vibes haha. I spent super long stuck in the first part of the game, many things to interact with, but none of them giving clues to what I needed to do haha. I think hints would be very helpful after getting stuck so long. Hints on what the objects could be used for would be nice too. The music cut off after a while instead of looping, so I played most of the game in silence lol. I admire the amount of effort that went into making the art, it looks very elegant and cohesive!
I like the artwork! The instructions were a tad long and wordy, a visual would be nice. Not sure if I missed it but I’m kind of confused how to win? Was not clear to me that upside down sheep was dead(?) at first. Admittedly I just played it like a memory game and wasn’t sure why I was winning or losing at the end. Interesting concept though!
Electric music! May need to pre-load assets to prevent initial lag. I love the visuals for the bomb! Fun animations! Needed an indicator to know when I could place a bomb, felt like it wasnt working at times. I’m really glad there was a revive , im so bad at these kinds of games haha. Overall fantastic work!
(Edit: why did I say timer I meant revive sorry haha)
The format of your itch page is so cool! I didn’t know you can customize it that much. Nice juicy card sounds hehe. The cards being 3D is so awesome (assuming this is some stencil buffer magic?). Very distinct visual identity for this game! Amazing environement art and atmosphere, and very fitting music as well. The smoky effects on the lantens and shaders is a nice touch. I think controls being mouse up until verify is a bit odd though, wuold not have known without the insturctions below. I did not understand the number in the top right corner either. Gameplay wise, beyond admiring the artwork, I did not really pay attention to the story, I just clicked based on the 1/3 number lol. Regardless, the whole game is so juicy and gorgeous. Visually a true work of art. Amazing work team!
Like the spooky/mysterious music! Good paper sound effect. One small thing about the paper interaction, I think since the note is so big, it should stay behind even if the smaller paper is on top when it is selected, cause I wanted to copy things from the smaller paper and it got hidden by the big note paper. I think cause the instructions at the start were so long, there needed to be a way to filter the rules or see in game mode. I wonder how many clues I needed before I solved it in the end. Awesome deduction game! I really liked it a lot!
